We aim to enhance your lifestyle with beautiful design, light and flair. We believe in making buildings that are accessible to everyone, the young, the old, able-bodied, people with disabilities and everyone in between. We work on a wide range of project types and look forward to working with you on your upcoming venture, big or small… Here are just some of the areas we work in:

Private Homes: New houses, extensions, alterations, renovations, new layouts and improvements; to enhance your lifestyle and bring space and light into your world.

Energy efficient, Eco or “Green” designs for new and existing buildings: including upgrades to current properties; to introduce sustainability and value to your build.

Conservation of historic (listed) buildings, sensitive extensions and adaptations for modern living that respect existing structure, character and details. A marriage of old and new that brings history and cutting edge design together in sensitive manner achieving harmony.

Commercial building development projects, alterations and new builds: Residential, Offices, Hospitality – Always engaging light and space to maximise the functionality and enhance the aesthetics.

Planning Permissions, Fire Certification, Disability Access Certificates, etc: We know all the ins and outs involved in getting the typical permissions associated with projects so you can trust us to manage these submissions for you.

Feasibility Studies of sites or projects: See if a development has real potential before you get too involved. Working with us can enable you to “test the water” of a project idea before you get deeply involved with full design and planning application processes. Here we prepare simple drawings and where relevant, engage in discussions with the planning authority. This can help remove many of the uncertainties involved with a new project.

Are you looking at changing or expanding your home? Not sure where to start? How about an “Inspired By” consultation with Tara Cooke. This is a cost effective way to get expert advice, feedback and ideas for the potential design and layout of your project.

After visiting the site and chatting through your project, Tara will advise you on how to effectively enhance your space, maximise the use of day light and give you an idea of potential finishes. If relevant Tara will also include a series of sketch ideas of your project for you.

This service is a great way for you to clarify the direction in which you would like your project to go. It includes two face to face meetings with Tara Cooke. The time required will depend on the scale of your project but typically this service costs from about €395.oo including VAT.

(Fee paid for consultations will be taken into consideration if they lead to further work.)

"I recommend Tara very highly as a competent and knowledgable architect with a wealth of experience.”
